We are an Outstanding Catholic School (Diocesan RE Report, 2017)
In 2017, St John Fisher was graded Outstanding for both Teaching and Learning and the Catholic Life of the School by Westminster Diocesan Inspectors, ‘The leadership and management of RE are outstanding. The senior leadership team, including governors have ensured that religious education is at the centre of the school’s work.’
We are a Good School with Outstanding Personal development, behaviour and welfare (Ofsted Report, April 2017)
In 2017, St John Fisher was graded Good by Ofsted. Inspectors praised the culture of high expectation and noted that ‘Pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is outstanding.’

- To focus on improving outcomes for Reading by the end of KS2.
- To build on existing Levels of challenge to further raise standards across the school.
- To continue to prioritise Safeguarding to ensure robust structures and procedures are in place.
